et al. is the culmination of two hospitality die-hards joining forces to create a place that they would love to go to themselves. It's casual, down to earth and fun but also created with the highest standards for food, service and creativity. 

Daniel Backhouse, co-owner, brings to et al. his imagination for all things food. Backhouse has worked as a chef for over ten years at establishments like Level Fourty One, The Bathers Pavilion and Berowra Waters Inn. He has a strong respect for the ingredient, but also a cheeky way of bringing out the fun side of food.

Stephen Craig, co-owner, has worked at the helm of some of Sydney's best restaurants, including Four in Hand, Billy Kwong and Cirrus. He now handles the front of house at Et Al bringing with him a wealth of experience and passion for friendly, down to earth hospitality.
